This weathervane is handmade from tin-plate on wooden molds. Parts are soldered and rivetted together in a truly authentic and artistic manner. Paper thin sheets of artificial gold leaf are applied over several layers of base paint. This weathervane is a reproduction of a classic American 19th century horse.
