I love this pan. I use it all the time. From Shepherd's Pie to pan searing chicken! I make sauces, casseroles, meats, whatever! And I can use any utensils with it. It is heavy duty and handles the heat well. Clean up is easy too. It is great to be able to see the food thru the tight fitting lid. I also love that I can use it on the stovetop and in the oven. Watch the handles when using on the stovetop because sometimes they get hot!
