I use this great-looking fan at night in my bedroom. It is so quiet on the lowest speed that I have slept well with it turned on, even on the first night. I also like its 1910's-1920's look too; the only one I have found that looks like fans from that period. Add to that Casablanca quality (I've bought Casablanca products for more than 20 years) and its a great product that's well worth the price.
