Radiata Pine, better known as 'New Zealand Pine' is a softwood tree that contains many properties that make it very suitable for furniture and furniture making. The assembly directions enclosed showed a different crib, which added some confusion for assembly. Despite that, the crib was easy to put together.

I bought this last spring for my granddaughter who is an occasional visitor. I was very impressed with the workmanship, my husband said it is very well made. I liked it so much I recommended this site & this brand to my daughter & her husband when they were looking for a new crib for their second baby. My oldest granddaughter is over 2 now & although she looks a bit cramped in it she still sleeps in this crib when she visits. I got the rails & will turn this into a twin this summer. Very pleased with my purchase!
