After it was finished, this piece reminded me a bit of Henry Moore’s pieces although he worked in bronze and wood mostly. Of all the artists, Henry Moore, Alexander Calder, David Smith, and Claude Monet are my favorites, and sometimes it shows…like now. There is a nice simplicity to the piece and the symbolism is soft and romantic. This piece is 6 ½ feet tall and if you’re a romantic…what nicer and more eternal present could you give to symbolize your love?
