The Plaza Athenee Chest was inspired by the classic baroque period of the 17th century renaissance. Motion and movement is achieved in gracefully shaped drawers, while twisted columns adorn each piece in the Plaza Athenee collection. Gilded carvings done in relief add to the traditional ambiance, while luxurious marble is framed in the tops of different pieces to further define the collection's Baroque influence. As a finishing touch, classic heirloom jewelry inspired the blending of faux crystal finger pulls with antique bronzed hardware on select pieces within the line.
