The Manhattan Bed is the perfect cottage-style bed for your bedroom. Available in twin, full, queen and Eastern king sizes, the sturdy Manhattan Bed is made of solid hardwood with a tongue-and-groove construction headboard. Add optional under-bed storage drawers to provide even more convenient space. The Manhattan Bed comes standard with bed and one set of optional under-bed storage drawers; additional pieces may be purchased within the set to furnish your bedroom.

- Contemporary cottage styling with tongue and groove panel
- 14 slats provide mattress support; Queen and King sizes include center support rail and support feet for extra stability

- Mortise and Tenon joinery
- Height of bed can be adjusted; allows use of the bed with or without a boxspring
- Optional under-bed storage drawers have casters

Atlantic Furniture Inc. (originally Watercraft, Inc.) was founded 1983 in Western Massachusetts and originally manufactured and sold pine waterbed frames to wholesale customers. They have been manufacturing and importing quality wood furniture for over 20 years, and now specialize in custom designed imports for adult and youth bedrooms.
Atlantic Furniture prides themselves on using eco-friendly hardwood, otherwise known as the Rubber Tree. Using these trees is economical and good for the Earth because:
- After 30 years, a decline in latex production has made only tapping rubber trees for their sap uneconomic
- Trees are removed by hand and replaced with new seedlings
- In the past, felled rubber trees were either burnt on the spot or used as fuel for locomotive engines, brick firing or latex curing. The wood is now used in the manufacture of high-end furniture. It is valued for its dense grain, stability, attractive color and acceptance of different finishes.
- It is also prized as an “environmentally friendly” wood, since it makes use of trees that have been cut down at the end of their latex-producing life cycle and are always replaced with new seedlings

General Shipping Information:
The most important thing to remember about truck freight is that you MUST inspect the package at the time of delivery. If the box has any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem.
If you are ordering a very large item, please keep in mind that you may need a couple of people to help unload it. Alternatively, most truck freight companies offer additional services to help you move items from the truck into your house. Once we email you the tracking information you can contact the shipper directly to inquire about additional services. You would be responsible for directly paying the truck freight carrier for any additional services.
Truck Freight Additional Information:
This product is too heavy/large to ship via the small package delivery services (e.g. UPS, FedEx) so it will be sent to you via truck freight. Truck freight is different than standard UPS, FedEx or US Mail in that you will be responsible for carrying the product from the back of the truck into your house (or wherever it's going).
