For more than 40 years, Swanstone has been creating innovative and affordable solid surface products and materials for customers all over the world. It started in 1964, when they introduced the Swan Shell Shower, a doorless, shell-shaped shower that captured the spirit of its time.
The Shell Shower was the first in a long line of original kitchen and bath products from Swan, including the Circle Shower as well as the industry's first compression-molded bathtub wall system.
In 1987, they introduced Swanstone to the world, first with a line of vanity tops and bowls. Swanstone quickly became known for its superior impact strength, heat resistance, and ability to resist scratches and stains. Consumers now had an elegant and durable solid surface material that was also affordable.
Since then, the Swanstone line has expanded to include a wide variety of kitchen sinks, countertops, tub and shower walls, and more. In 1994 they introduced the Swanstone 1/4" sheet program, offering even more flexibility to Swanstone customers. In 1997 they introduced a complete line of Swanstone products for the restaurant industry, including tabletops, countertops, vanity tops, mop service sinks and windowsills.
At Swanstone, they're committed to a policy of continuous improvement, to providing their customers with the highest quality products and most responsive customer service in the kitchen & bath industry. And they stand behind this commitment with some of the best warranties in the business. © 2006 The Swan Corporation More on Swanstone...

Comments about Swanstone Nero Granite Undermount Double Bowl Kitchen Sink:
Installing faucet and soap dispenser a little tough to get solidly tightened because of rough surface on bottom of sink. Also rough area around drain holes initially leaked; extra plumbers putty finally sealed.

Comments about Swanstone Nero Granite Undermount Double Bowl Kitchen Sink:
I bought this product (Nero Granite Undermount Double Bowl Kitchen Sink) w/out any previous knowledge of Swanstone sinks and never seeing one (except the picture on the website) I was pleasantly surprised by the light weight, quality, and good looks of the sink. It is deep and well insulated which keeps the water hotter longer than my old porcelain coated metal sink. It doesn't scratch as far as I've noticed and pots and pans don't clang like they did in my old sink did. I always needed a mat on the bottom to protect my old sink from getting scratched/chaffed when cleaning pots and pans. Not so with the Swanstone. The only minor nit is my hard water leaves a white residue that is noticeable on the black Swanstone; however it cleans easily with just a swipe of a damp dishrag. So far, (after 1 month) I love it.

Comments about Swanstone Nero Granite Undermount Double Bowl Kitchen Sink:
This is the third "granite" sink that I have put in my homes and I love it. It is so easy to clean and does not scratch. Just a quick swipe of Armor All twice a month and these sinks remain perfect.
