We do not require an adult signature for deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. If you want an item left at your doorstep, the best thing to do is leave a note on your door asking the driver to leave your package with "No Signature Required." The 18" high measurement is off by about 3.5". The actual assembled height of the one I got is 21"-21.5", even though the box says it is 18" high. I could not put it under the counter as I'd hoped, but it matches some other dining room furniture sufficiently that it now sits on a buffet table instead of the counter.
