I needed to reposition the turntable to match my Standard tube TV's center of gravity. As originally mounted the TV was unbalanced. Probably will not have this problem with a Flat Screen TV.

This works great with my 50" Sony SXRD set. It's not quite wide enough to fit (the tv's base overhangs the turntable by about 1.5 inches on either side), but it's still plenty stable and lets my wife turn the TV so she can watch it while she's on the treadmill. Good stuff!
