Great to be able to change the viewing angle but it does not hold the angle if the component wires that are connected to the TV are offering any resistance. Needs some kind of hold-down or braking device to hold the position once set. Also, the finish is very poor and is hard to dust with the rough surface that's provided.

Service and delivery comments:
Did not like the assembly instructions. Very sparse and took a while to figure out which piece was which. Also no mention made of feet for bottom metal revolving disk. Had vision of ruined table top till I went online and read about feet there. A few more pictures might have helped.

I use the TV stand in my bedroom so I can swivel my TV (with cable box underneath) to be viewed from bed, my treadmill, or my bathroom vanity. It is great for my 21" LCD TV. It is a little bulky, but essentially just what I needed. I only wish it had two compartments underneath for my Cable box and my separate DVD player.

Raised TV to perfect viewing height and allows TV to be turned so that it can be seen from a chair off to the side (main use is for watching TV in bed). Also perfect for accomodating cable box and narrow height dvd player if you want to fit both.

For my application, a narrow dresser against a wall, the dimensions of this stand were too deep. I used my radial arm saw to remove 2 1/2 inches from the back edge and repositioned the swivel plate. Now it easily swivels the 90 degrees that is required for the 2 viewing angles my wife needed.
