The Aika series was designed by Professor Heikki Orvola, who among other things, has created the successful Kivi Votive for iittala. The simple and bare pieces of Aika are timeless while the whole series is firmly rooted in today’s world. The idea for the Aika series was to bring a festive series to the iittala assortment, which can also be used for a variety of purposes.
